Day 01 :

Kathgodam to Khati Village (Drive – 8 to 9 Hours)

The journey begins early in the morning at 6:30 AM with a scenic drive from Kathgodam to Khati village. A shared Bolero will take you through winding mountain roads, lush valleys, and charming villages. After 8 to 9 hours of travel, you’ll reach Khati by evening, where your trek leader will welcome you. You’ll check into a cozy homestay, enjoy a warm meal, and attend a briefing session about the trek challenges and safety tips.

Day 02 :

Khati Village to Dwali (Trek – 13 km, 6 to 7 Hours)

After an early breakfast, the trek starts at 7:00 AM. The trail is a mix of ascents and descents, passing through dense forests and running alongside the Pindar River. The walk is filled with scenic beauty, wooden bridges, and the soothing sounds of nature. By late afternoon, you’ll reach Dwali, where you’ll stay overnight in a guest house. Enjoy a hot dinner and rest for the next day’s adventure.

Day 03 :

Dwali to Khatiya (Trek – 7 km, 4 to 5 Hours)

This is one of the most challenging sections of the trek. After breakfast at 7:30 AM, you’ll begin your ascent towards Khatiya. The trail passes through landslide-prone areas, making it an adventurous and thrilling experience. You’ll reach Khatiya by mid-afternoon and stay overnight in a guest house or tent, enjoying a peaceful evening in the lap of nature.

Day 04 :

Khatiya to Kafni Glacier Zero Point (5 km) and Return to Dwali (17 km Total, 7 to 8 Hours)

The most exciting day of the trek begins early in the morning. You’ll trek to Kafni Glacier Zero Point, a breathtaking viewpoint where you can witness the stunning glacier and towering Himalayan peaks. After spending time enjoying the panoramic views, you’ll return to Khatiya for a freshly cooked lunch. Later, the descent continues to Dwali, where you’ll stay overnight.

Day 05 :

Dwali to Khati Village (Trek – 13 km, 6 to 7 Hours)

After breakfast, you’ll start trekking back to Khati village, retracing your path through dense forests and riverbanks. By early evening, you’ll arrive at Khati, where you’ll check into a homestay and enjoy a warm meal, marking the last night of the trek.

Day 06 :

Khati to Kathgodam (Drive – 8 to 9 Hours)

After breakfast, you’ll board a shared Bolero to Bharadi. From there, you’ll switch vehicles for the journey back to Kathgodam. By evening, you’ll reach Kathgodam, bringing an end to an unforgettable trekking experience.
